I love Paris and have had a chance to visit it several times. While exploring the city with my friends this summer, I noticed the striking contrast of light and shadow at this particular location. Luckily, these two were framed nearly perfectly in the sunlight surrounded by the shade of the surrounding buildings. Are they strangers, friends or lovers? I will never know. But did you know that Paris is not only called the City of Love, but also the City of Light?
