Photographers and Guggenheim Fellows Michael Berman and Michael Lundgren have recently released a pair of remarkable monographs of their work. Michael Berman’s Perdido: Sierra San Luis is a document of the artist’s time in the Mexican borderlands. Mike Lundgren’s Geomancy is a darkly beautiful poem from the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Both artists will speak for a half hour and then take questions from the audience. Books will be on sale at the event and the artists will be available to sign books afterwards.
