Join us for a conversation on making art, photography, and books with Philip Zimmermann.

Philip Zimmermann will give a presentation on his work, including his recent award-winning pandemic book, Delirium. He will also show selections of some of his other artists’ books. In addition to his own work, he will integrate a brief overview of the history of book arts and specifically photobooks and their current popularity. He will also talk a little about the differences between traditional photobooks and photo-based artists’ books and discuss how access to print-on-demand digital publishing has democratized and changed the publishing of photobooks.

This event is free for Arizona Photography Alliance Members, and open to non-members for a pay-what-you-wish donation ($5 suggested).
