Camping/Photography Trip with Mark Klett
February 14, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - February 17, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
Arizona Photography Alliance is excited to offer a rare opportunity to travel with renowned photographer Mark Klett through some of the most pristine and seldom visited areas of the Sonoran Desert. Highlights of the trip include a visit to an ancient petroglyph site, a military gunnery range and one of the most famous of all western water holes. At night, under a dark sky the drama of the Milky Way will be followed by glorious late evening moon rises amid thousands of square miles of remote Sonoran Desert scenery.
We will leave on Friday evening on February 14, 2020 and return on Monday evening, February 17th, which is Presidents Day for those of you who are wondering about time off from work! Because this is a camping/photography trip in a remote desert setting, the group is limited to 12 AZPA members at the Patron or Benefactor level. There is no additional fee to attend beyond the cost of your own supplies and transportation.
NOTE: We will have an evening orientation meeting on Tuesday February 4th 6-8 at Fine Art Framing 2010 East University Dr. Suite 11 Tempe AZ 85281 to discuss logistics, vehicles, gear, food preferences and etc. Hope you can join us on the desert…it will be an adventure.
This is a very limited opportunity – register today! Reservations will close on January 31.
