AZPA Members are invited to a private tour with Mark Klett of his retrospective exhibition “Circle of Influence” at Northlight Gallery.

With this exhibition, Northlight Gallery and the ASU School of Art honors Regents Professor Mark Klett for 40 years of service to the university. Mark began his time at Arizona State University in 1982 when he joined the staff as a master printer for the Visual Arts Research Institute. Ten years later, he joined the faculty where he has continued mentoring students and teaching photography. Mark’s creative practice has drawn hundreds of students to pursue their undergraduate and graduate degrees at ASU.

During this exclusive members-only event, Mark will speak about the exhibition and his teaching career at ASU. Circle of Influence features selections from Mark’s various projects, including Saguaros, Time Studies, Camino del Diablo, and Reconstructing the View. The photographs of over 50 ASU alumni who Klett mentored during their BFA and MFA degrees are also included in the exhibition.

This event is limited to 25 AZPA members only, and will only be held in person. Participants may be required to wear masks according to the policies of Northlight Gallery; please be prepared.
