In just a matter of weeks now, we are excited to celebrate the opening of “The Linda McCartney Retrospective,” in the Center Galleries; “Sessions on Creative Photography: Hazel Larsen Archer,” in the Heritage Gallery; and “8-Track,” in the Alice Chaiten Baker Interdisciplinary Gallery. February 25, 2023, marks the first time all three galleries at the Center for Creative Photography will be fully installed together since the spring of 2020, due to collection storage renovations and pandemic-related closures. We are thrilled to mark the occasion by bringing Linda McCartney’s photographs to Tucson, where her love of photography first began.

This spring at CCP, there’s so much to explore: the way the exhibition tells Linda McCartney’s story; the public programs inspired by social issues important to her; the unique use of our collections; the meaningful local connections, like the one with the Hazel Larsen Archer Estate; the incorporation of student work, regional artists, and photography’s histories alike!
