For those of you following Arizona Photography Alliance on Instagram, you may have seen that we recently launched a new Instagram-only “event” called #azpahome as a way to stay connected and share our experiences during the current situation.

Here’s how it works
Beginning Sunday May 10 (previously it was announced on Wednesday’s), on our Instagram page, we will announce a new theme based on the concept of “home” + a sub-theme for each week. For this week of May 5-10, we want to see your images honoring that special mom in your life. Now here’s where you come in: Please post Mother-themed image(s) to YOUR OWN Instagram and tag them with #azpahome_moms. (Make sure to include the underscore between #azpahome_moms!)

At the end of every week, Arizona Photography Alliance will search for and review all the images that have been tagged with the #azpahome_(theme) hashtag and select one or more photographers to be featured on the AZPA Instagram feed.

Other themes that have been explored thus far are #azpahome_bw (April 29-May 5) #azpahome_outdoors (April 8-14) and #azpahome_soap (April 15-21). You are welcome to also post and tag any images inspired by past themes. Remember, themes will be announced Sundays beginning May 10 and only on Instagram, so be sure you’re following @azphotographyalliance for a chance to be featured!
