Arizona Photography Alliance invites you to a lecture and book signing by photographer Ken Rosenthal in association with the release of his new book Days on the Mountain.

During the evening, we’ll also hear from photographer Reid Woodward, Viewers’ Choice winner of the inaugural Arizona Photography Alliance Members’ Exhibition held earlier this year.

This event is supported by Artlink and will be held at the newly renovated Park Central Phoenix (see map below). This indoor-outdoor space allows us a chance to preview AZPA’s Sonoran Desert photography trip by setting up a photographer’s desert campsite at the venue. The trip is tentatively scheduled for November.

This event is free and open to the public with RSVP on Eventbrite. Please register so that we know how many to expect for seating and refreshments. Water and soft drinks will be provided.

About Ken Rosenthal

Ken Rosenthal is well-known for his dark and moody black and white photography, dreamlike soft-focus images of people and places, some of which were culled from family photographs as in his series Seen and Not Seen. His most recent series, The Forest, is darker still and embraces the mystery of the night landscape in fully focused detail. Days on the Mountain is a meditative, poetic narrative which also serves as a bridge between these two worlds.
