The fifth annual Arizona Photography Alliance Members’ Exhibition will be back again at the Mood Room in Phoenix from April 21 through May 11, 2023.

New for this year, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve made arrangements for an independent juror, Gary Martelli, the Phoenix Airport Museum Director at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, to evaluate our exhibition and present four Juror’s Recognition Awards and one Award of Distinction that will be revealed at the Opening Reception on April 21. The artist who earns the Award of Distinction will give a short talk at the Closing Reception on May 11.

As part of the exhibition, we’ll also be conducting the fun and popular Viewers’ Choice vote for in-person visitors to the gallery. The photographer that receives the most votes during the run of the exhibition may be featured at a future event or blog article.

Concurrent with the live exhibition, we will also open an Online Gallery. The online gallery also features audio narrations from a few of the artists so you can hear them talk about their work, along with links to view more of the artists’ works on their individual websites. The event previously scheduled for April 29 “Value of Mentorship Revealed” Panel Discussion with Theresa Tarara, Rebecca Ross, and Lana Miller has been postponed.
