Join us for a screening of Brief Encounters, a close-up portrait of the acclaimed photographer Gregory Crewdson, filmed with unprecedented access over a decade as he creates his stunning images. A professor of photography at Yale University, Crewdson uses an 8×10 view camera to create highly cinematic and heavily staged enigmatic moments both on sound stages with large crews and in small towns around his home state of Massachusetts.

In his work, Gregory Crewdson creates a world of mystery making otherworldly color images of small town neighborhood scenes populated by people that seem to be in between wonderment and sadness.

Hosted by photographer and AZPA Board Member Rick Gayle, this event is free and limited to 15 attendees.
