The evening will begin with Benjamin Timpson conducting a brief studio tour followed by a presentation of his Metamorphosis work.

Benjamin Timpson’s luminous Metamorphosis portraits are recreations of photographs, carefully constructed of butterfly wings, which animate the original photograph through a complex interplay of color and iridescence. These compositions are then photographed and presented as large-scale archival pigment prints.
