Tour the Photography Collection of Oscar De las salas and Gary Jackson

Oscar De las salas and Gary Jackson have put together an eclectic collection of contemporary photography. The collection reflects Oscar and Gary’s varied interests, informed by an engagement with the worlds of design and fashion. The collection includes work by such local photographers as Werner Segarra as well as such nationally recognized artists as David Hilliard. Oscar and Gary have given the display of their collection a good deal of thought. This is your chance to see work you haven’t seen and gain insights into the way in which the collection took its present form.

The format for this event will be a virtual tour of the collection hosted by Oscar and Gary, followed by a discussion with Arizona Photography Alliance Program Director Richard Laugharn, ending with a chance for members to ask questions.

Oscar De las salas is an architect by training with a love for design and fashion. Gary Jackson has worked as an actor and singer and is currently working in finance. Gary and Oscar have graciously prepared a wonderful video to introduce themselves and tell you more about this event — watch now!

We are so excited to be able to host this virtual event with Oscar and Gary to stay connected with our AZPA community during this time! Normally, private collection tours are limited to a small number of members-only attendees since they are typically held in someone’s home with limited space. Now with this virtual format, we are able to expand this tour for many more to enjoy. This event is free for all Arizona Photography Alliance members, and open to non-members with a pay-what-you-wish tax-deductible donation. All attendees must register — Zoom link will be provided one day before the event.
