Virtual Visit to Dark Spring Press with Andy Burgess

Established in 2017 by Andy Burgess, Dark Spring Press specializes in small run and limited edition fine art photography books. In its brief history, this Tucson-based press has published more than a dozen titles.
Our conversation with Andy will illuminate what is involved in publishing books of fine art photography, including how work is selected and sequenced, how the books are designed and printed, and how the economics of publishing and distribution are managed. There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.
This program will be of interest to anyone who loves photography books, and might be especially valuable to photographers who are interested in producing a book of their own work.
This event is free, and limited to 30 Arizona Photography Alliance Members. Non-members may register for a pay-what-you-wish donation ($5 suggested).
