Greetings from Asbury Park, New Jersey, where, in 1973, Bruce Springsteen formed his E-Street Band.
While riding a bike along the Jersey shore on the boardwalk, this is where I stopped. What caught my eye was the layers of horizontal lines with the contrast of the slanted wood. I liked the textures, the sharpness, and the foreground being close enough to touch, while the the depth seemed infinite.
There is no background because where the ocean and sky meet in the distance is too far to see.
